PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Pembroke Pines police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in the 6800 block of Pembroke Road. According to authorities, someone called 911 just after 8:45 a.m. to report that a naked man was walking in the 7200 block of Pembroke Road. Police responded to the area to search for the man as more calls came in to 911 regarding a gunshot heard at a nearby apartment building at 6840 Pembroke Road. Police and paramedics responded to the scene to find an injured, naked man outside of the complex, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said a final 911 call came in from a man who identified himself as the shooter.

MIRAMAR, Fla. The Miramar Police Department has released new video of a robbery case involving two NFL players. The video shows the cash, which police say might be a payoff. Both are accused in an armed robbery that happened at a house party back in May, inside a gated community on Southwest 30th Street in Miramar. One admitted the football players were trying to offer us some money to go in and sign an affidavit. Ebony Williams said she found a toddler with long honey-brown curls walking barefoot in the parking lot on Sunday morning in Miramar. And I reached out my hand, and he grabbed my hand and I just walked around the complex hoping that I would find somebody looking for him, Williams said. Lori Rodriguez said after Williams approached her she volunteered to change his diaper and take care of him. MIRAMAR, Fla. A sergeant in the Miramar Police Department is under investigation for making several disturbing posts on social media. The posts railed against the media and the Black Lives Matter movement. The Miramar Police Departments own social media policy says it supports the first amendment but goes on to say personal attacks of any kind, or offensive comments that target or disparage certian groups are prohibited. Miramar police confirmed they are aware of the posts and have launched an investigation, saying in a statement:Our department does not condone behavior that is inconsistent, incompatible, or in conflict with the values established by this agency. MIRAMAR, Fla. – A robber used a gun to strike his victim in the face five to six times -- causing him to be permanently disfigured, according to an arrest report released by the Miramar Police Department on Tuesday. On Dec. 26, officers arrested 27-year-old Matthew Vincent, who the victim identified as the man who used a gun to hit the left side of his face. Don’t choke him to death,” Vincent told his accomplice during the attack, according to the report. “You are choking him to death!”Vincent allegedly hit the victim in the left side of his face with the gun. Miramar police are searching for these three suspects in connection to a brutal beating and robbery of a young man.

The video shows the officer stopped the man who was wearing a Nike hoodie about 4:30 a.m., outside of the Publix Super Market at 6890 Miramar Pkway., east of the Florida Turnpike. The officer ran after him, opened the door and attempted to pull him out of the car. Officers arrested Morris, 20, in Miami-Dade County, and he remained at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Saturday. Morris faces charges of aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer, leaving the scene of an accident and providing a false name to law enforcement.
