Her son, John Pepper, made the announcement on Facebook, saying she died Wednesday. “The Dolce Vita wasn’t so sweet,” John Pepper told the Italian newspaper Il Foglio in a story published Friday. Her husband, Curtis Bill Pepper, died in 2014.
