MIAMI – Miami Fire Rescue personnel found a shooting victim on Monday inside a silver car on the Dolphin Expressway, also known as State Road 836, near Miami’s Flagami area. According to Miami-Dade police officers, the shooter targeted the passenger side of the car at southwest 186th Street near 107th Avenue in south Miami-Dade. Paramedics responded to help the wounded victim on SR 836 near Northwest 45th Avenue, off the Blue Lagoon. After Shot Spotter technology detected an afternoon shooting, officers responded to the area of Northwest 62nd Street and Northwest 15th Avenue. Officers found a man had been shot near the Liberty Square public housing complex, also known as the Pork & Beans housing projects. Miami Fire Rescue personnel declared him dead at the scene. MIAMI – The man who was found shot dead hanging out of a Miami-Dade County Transit bus on Wednesday night has been identified as 33-year-old Brandon Bennett, Miami police say. “He was with his feet in the bus, and his torso was outside the bus,” said Officer Michael Vega of the Miami PD. Police say they don’t know if he was shot inside the bus, or outside of it and then got on for a ride. Witnesses who work nearby say the bus was crawling down the road. “We saw the bus and all of a sudden it’s swamped with officers,” witness Yvette Navarro said.

VIRGINIA KEY, MIAMI, Fla. – A watercraft accident near Miami Marine Stadium has left 1 person dead, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission officials who are conducting the investigation. The crash happened around 5 p.m. Saturday when the unidentified victim was riding a personal watercraft near Miami Marine Stadium on Rickenbacker Causeway and lost control, colliding with a concrete structure, according to investigators. MIAMI – Miami Fire Rescue crews responded to the area of First Avenue and Eighth Street Wednesday after multiple workers were injured in a construction accident. Other workers who were at the scene told Local 10 News reporter Glenna Milberg that they were working with rebar and concrete at a building that is under construction near Brickell City Centre when the incident occurred. According to a Miami Fire Rescue lieutenant at the scene, the group was hoisting a bundle of rebar when it fell down on them. Authorities said three workers got out from underneath the rebar on their own while first responders quickly got a fourth worker out. Ignatius Carroll said all of the workers were conscious as they were being transported, however their conditions have not been released.

MIAMI - Three children and one adult were injured Monday afternoon in a crash on the Julia Tuttle Expressway in Miami, authorities confirmed. The crash shut down the westbound off-ramp to Biscayne Boulevard. Sky 10 was above the scene at 3:45 p.m. as a dark-colored SUV was halfway up on the guardrail. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the driver of the SUV lost control of the vehicle and rolled over, hitting the guardrail. Authorities said the driver and three children were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

LITTLE HAVANA, Fla. - A shooting left two men wounded Sunday morning in Miami's Little Havana and was affecting traffic on Eighth Street. Officers responded to Southwest 33rd Avenue and Southwest Sixth Street after the 8 a.m. Officers handcuffed a man who has long, dark hair and was wearing a neon green T-shirt and flip-flops. Crime scene investigators focused on a black pickup truck carrying a blue industrial ladder. According to Officer Kenia Fallat, one man was in the emergency room and the other was at Ryder Trauma Center. Officers closed the area of Southwest Eighth Street in both directions, from Southwest 34th to 35th avenues, and Seventh Street in both directions, between Southwest 33th and 34th avenues.

MIAMI - A man suffered a hand injury and a woman was injured while they were setting off fireworks Tuesday afternoon in Miami's Liberty City. Miami Fire Rescue personnel and Miami police officers responded to Northwest Seventh Court and Northwest 60th Street. There were two chairs at the corner and there was blood on the sidewalk. The packaging of the 99 Brand Empire Strikes Rockets was still on the ground. Miami Fire Rescue personnel took the man and the woman to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.

MIAMI - One person was injured Sunday morning when a car crashed into a palm tree in Miami's Watson Island. The crash temporarily shut down MacArthur Causeway in both directions. Miami police officers closed two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane between the Miami Children's Museum and Jungle Island. KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. – Two bicyclists were struck by a vehicle Friday morning in Key Biscayne, authorities said. The incident was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. at 250 Crandon Blvd. Miami Fire Rescue crews are at the scene, but no one has yet been transported to a hospital. NBC 6 reported that its anchor, Johnny Archer, and photojournalist Shane Walker were injured in the crash. NBC 6 reported that Archer was also injured, but didn't go to the hospital.

MIAMI – Miami Fire Rescue says a motor vehicle accident took place Sunday afternoon on northbound I-95, involving an SUV, a minivan and a tow truck. Authorities said the accident took place near the NW 62nd Street exit of I-95 before 3:00 p.m. Sunday. According to the driver of the tow truck, a disabled blue BMW was being loaded onto a Road Ranger flatbed tow truck while a second Road Ranger tow truck provided traffic safety assistance. MFR said the Mercedes SUV was traveling northbound when it hit the rear of the tow truck and sideswiped a minivan. The tow truck driver, who police said was walking to his truck, wasn't injured.
