Duclair and MacKenzie Weegar assisted on Barkov’s goal, and Weegar stretched his career-best points streak to seven games.

Florida’s Chris Driedger made 30 saves, including a spectacular stop to deny Darren Helm from scoring in the second period. The Central Division-leading Panthers matched a season high with three straight victories, giving them an 11-2-2 record through 15 games.

Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves, including one with his left skate late in the third period to stop Mathias Brome’s backhander. Detroit’s Anthony Mantha and Tyler Bertuzzi had goals.
