An 8-year-old girl who was reported missing from Homestead this week has been found in Lafayette, Louisiana, police confirmed Saturday afternoon.

A bill in the California Legislature would ban five chemicals found in some of the most popular candy in the U.S. The bill by Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel would ban chemicals found in candy like Skittles, Starbursts and Peeps.

According to data from globalpetrolprices.com, 46 countries has gas prices that are $6 a gallon or more, 26 have prices that are at least $7 a gallon while nine countries have gas prices that are $8 a gallon or more.

The average price of regular gasoline across the U.S. has risen above $4 per gallon for the first time since 2008.

The employee was taken to the hospital and put on life support but died in the afternoon, he said. The facility was locked down after the shooting, and officers found everyone else was safe, Rosipajla said. A woman who answered the telephone at the facility said it had no comment on the shooting.
