The Sundance Film Festival welcomed back three Oscar-winning documentary filmmakers to help kick off the annual independent film showcase in Park City, Utah.

The Sundance Film Festival catalogue can be overwhelming to navigate, with around 90 feature films playing across 11 days.

The new documentary “High & Low — John Galliano” covers all the complexities of the famous British designer, one of the most celebrated and controversial figures in the fashion industry.

Film Foundation, the nonprofit founded by Martin Scorsese dedicated to film preservation, is launching a virtual theater to stream classic films free of charge.

“Nomadland” has won four prizes, including best picture, at the British Academy Film Awards.
