A tanker truck overturned across the northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in southwest Miami-Dade early Friday evening.

Police have arrested a man they say ran up to a woman in southwest Miami-Dade and groped her. But they say he’s not linked to other incidents, including a serial groping suspect seen on video targeting women in the area.

Authorities are investigating a crash that left one person dead in southwest Miami-Dade Thursday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The victim was also shot in the upper body and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. KENDALL, Fla. – One person was killed and another injured after a shooting at a BB&T bank branch in Kendall. Miami-Dade police said it happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Southwest 137th Avenue near Kendall Drive. According to investigators, the victim was at the drive-thru ATM when he was approached by a man. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. A driver was killed early Monday morning in a crash involving a road ranger on Floridas Turnpike, Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho confirmed later in the morning. According to Camacho, a white Honda sedan was heading north on the Turnpike near Kendall Drive when the driver lost control of the car and struck a road rangers truck that was parked on the right shoulder. The road ranger was outside of the truck assisting with another crash, Camacho said. Camacho said the road ranger wasnt injured. KENDALL, Fla. – A construction worker suffered a long fall on the roof of a building under construction at Baptist Hospital in Kendall, authorities said Tuesday. Sky 10 was above the hospital at 8900 N. Kendall Drive shortly after 9 a.m. as the worker was lowered down from the roof in a Stokes basket. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said the building in question does not yet have stairs. The worker was then placed into an awaiting ambulance. Circumstances surrounding the fall and the worker's condition were not immediately released, although he appeared to be conscious when he was being placed into the ambulance.
