Joakim Nordstrom, Anders Bjork and Zdeno Chara also scored for Boston, and Tuukka Rask made 25 saves. Boston added goals by Bjork and Chara, taking a 4-0 lead into the third. Play was halted for a few minutes in the first period when the arena lights flickered with the Panthers on a power play.
