Reigning world champion Kaillie Humphries has been announced as part of this season’s USA Bobsled national team.

Katie Uhlaender of the U.S. was sixth in her final world championships. AdThe men’s world championships saw a comeback as well, though nowhere near as big of one time-wise as Hermann’s rally. The world championships continue Saturday and Sunday with the women's monobob and four-man bobsled events.

In the men’s race, Russia's Alexander Tretiakov is the leader after two runs, finishing Thursday in 1:53.30. AdTretiakov is seeking his second world title, after winning in 2013. Austin Florian is the top American in the men’s race, holding 10th place at the midway mark.
