HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A man was shot and killed overnight near the intersection of Hallandale Beach Boulevard and NW 8th Avenue, police say. A silver Chevy Tahoe riddled with bullets could be seen crashed up against the side of a T-Mobile store before dawn, with detectives surrounding it. The SUV, which has a Tennessee license plate, has since been towed away. The victim’s body was found half a block away, Hallandale Beach police say. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A suspected road-rage shooting on I-95 near the border of Broward and Miami-Dade counties has sent a man to the hospital, and the search is on for the suspected shooter, authorities say. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the shooting took place in the express lane south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon, not far from Ives Dairy Road. A man in his 20s behind the wheel of a gray Ford was traveling southbound when a driver in a 2006 or 2007 black Infiniti M45 with temporary tags fired at him. Authorities say someone inside this black Infiniti M45 fired at a car on I-95 near the Miami-Dade and Broward County border. PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a second driver who was involved in a deadly New Year’s Eve crash on Interstate 95. Skyler Jones, right, was killed while trying to cross I-95 near Hallandale Beach Boulevard. According to the report, Beck remained at the scene after the crash. The report stated that a second vehicle crashed into Beck’s SUV after Jones was struck but failed to stop. PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. - Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating after someone opened fire at two deputies Tuesday morning in a Pembroke Park neighborhood. The shooting occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on Southwest 41st Street, just off Hallandale Beach Boulevard. BSO spokeswoman Miranda Grossman said two deputies were patrolling the area in an unmarked vehicle when someone fired several shots at them. She said the deputies weren't injured. Deputies blocked off the area surrounding the shooting scene and diverted early morning traffic on Southwest 52nd Avenue during the investigation.

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. - Medical marijuana is a budding industry now that it's been legalized in Florida. The store, located on busy Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Southwest 6th Avenue, opened earlier this summer. Students from Gulfstream Academy of Hallandale Beach K-8 and Hallandale High School pass by the store on their way to school and on their way home afterward. PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A tow truck hit a Broward County public bus leaving several injured Saturday in Pembroke Park. The crash happened on the westbound lanes of Hallandale Beach Boulevard near the Barack Obama Boulevard intersection. Fire Rescue treated nine injured including the bus driver who suffered head and back injuries. Paramedics took three to Aventura Hospital and Medical Center and six to Memorial Regional Hospital.
