Late Thursday morning, Homeland Security Investigations agents entered a home off Lantana Drive inside The Islands residential community in Weston, Florida. The raid was part of a large-scale child exploitation investigation, officials said. HSI is one of the two primary divisions of ICE and has wide, sweeping jurisdiction. According to its website, the division is a "vital U.S. asset in combating criminal organizations illegally exploiting America's travel, trade, financial and immigration systems."
