As Lubert began to turn his vehicle onto Southwest 33rd Avenue, the driver entered the path of the motorcycle, according to BSO. DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Sky 10 was over heavy police activity at Griffin Road, just west of I-95, after Broward Sheriff’s Office stopped the driver of a stolen SUV Friday. A BSO spokesperson told Local 10 that just before noon, deputies began following a stolen car in Dania Beach. As they tried to stop the vehicle, the driver rammed into a BSO vehicle and the driver fled in the car. BSO’s Aviation Unit tracked the vehicle from overhead, and a short time later, deputies on the ground were able to stop the driver, following a minor crash. The driver of the stolen car was taken into custody.

DAVIE, Fla. – An argument over a parking space in a Walmart lot turned violent quickly on Tuesday afternoon, according to Davie Police. It all happened at the Walmart on University Drive and Griffin Road over a parking-space disagreement. Police said one woman had been waiting for a parking spot but when the space opened up, a silver Mercedes sped into the spot before she could pull in. At that time, when she got out of her car, she was attacked by three people from the Mercedes-Benz, according to police. Video shows the woman on the ground being attacked by the group while other shoppers try to help stop the assault.

DAVIE, Fla. Davie police responded to a rollover crash that turned deadly on Tuesday night. Investigators said the driver and passenger of a Toyota Scion have died. They were making a U-turn onto the westbound lanes when they collided with a Ford Mustang. The driver in the Mustang was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers said hes being investigated for possible speeding and whether he was under the influence.

Around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, the group started the march with a moment of prayer. They promised a peaceful protest as they said they want family members, residents and businesses in the area to hear their message. Two owners closed their businesses and started marching along with the protesters. BSO is advising drivers to stay out of the area since traffic will be diverted for about the next hour.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A group of protesters grew late Friday afternoon along U.S. 441 in Hollywood, and it even included former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, who lives in Fort Lauderdale. “This is important, because the golden promise is to do unto others as you want them to do unto you,” Holyfield said, joining the demonstration against racial inequality. The protesters gathered at the intersection of 441 and Griffin Road, not far from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and marched north. “It’s important for me to come out here to support George Floyd, because he died very inhumanely,” said one of the protesters. Because if you don’t go to the polls to vote, this is how we end up where we are.
