Among the other high-profile parents who have been sent to prison for participating in the scam is โDesperate Housewivesโ actor Felicity Huffman. She served nearly two weeks behind bars late last year in the same California prison after she admitted to paying $15,000 to have someone correct her daughterโs entrance exam answers.

There is no indication that Defendants will flee rather than face sentencing, Loughlin and Giannullis attorneys wrote. In a stunning reversal, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty in May after insisting for more than a year that they were innocent. Loughlin and Giannulli are scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 21. If the judge accepts their plea deals, Loughlin will be sentenced to two months in prison and Giannulli will be sentenced to five months.
