In Fort Lauderdale, the city closed off northbound lanes to cars – the latest measure taken to allow for outdoor activity as portions of the state begin to reopen. The closure to traffic, in place from Las Olas Boulevard to Sunrise Boulevard on A1A, is from sunrise until 7 p.m. Sunday night. Carrie Becker, a Hollywood resident, liked Fort Lauderdale’s plan. DeSantis said in Florida close to 85% of the fatalities have been people age 65 or older. DeSantis said he has been worried about Brazil and some of the hot spots which have a lot of interaction with Miami. Trump and DeSantis also discussed a travel ban related to Brazil -- one of the world’s new hot spots. Kudlow also said Trump is looking into middle-class tax relief, middle-class regulatory relief, infrastructure development and insurance liability protections for small businesses.
