Border Patrol agents are investigating after they say five individuals from both Haiti and the Dominican Republic were apprehended following a “migrant landing” on Hillsboro Beach Sunday night.

13 migrants were intercepted on a sailboat near Key Biscayne Saturday in what the head of the U.S. Border Patrol’s Miami sector calls a “maritime smuggling event.”
