Two siblings who were seriously wounded in the mass shooting that occurred nearly two weeks ago at CityPlace Doral have filed civil lawsuits.

Martini Bar Doral, located within the CityPlace complex, is set to reopen its doors Thursday to help the family of a fallen security guard.

Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez said two of his department’s police officers discharged their firearms on Saturday morning at the Martini Bar in CityPlace.

A man took out a gun and fatally shot a security guard early Saturday morning at a business at CityPlace in Doral, according to Detective Alvaro Zabaleta, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department.
