Huh, File)NEWARK, N.J. – Corey Crawford, who helped the Chicago Blackhawks win two Stanley Cups, retired Saturday less than three months after signing with the New Jersey Devils and less than a week before the start of the NHL season. “I have been fortunate to have had a long career playing professional hockey for a living,” Crawford said in a statement. He won 260 regular-season games and recorded a franchise-high 52 playoff wins, winning the Cup in 2012-13 and 2014-15. In the 2014-15 playoffs, Crawford helped lead the Blackhawks to another Stanley Cup victory thanks to his 13 wins and two shutouts.

He is the first Bruins player with four hat tricks in a season since Phil Esposito during the 1974-75 season. The only player in Bruins history with more hat tricks in a single season was Esposito, who had seven in 1970-71. With 41 goals on the season Pastrnak also takes over the NHL lead for goals scored.

Aleksander Barkov had two goals and an assist and Mike Matheson added a goal and two assists. The top line of Huberdeau, Barkov and Dadonov notched four goals and five assists. Barkov countered with his second goal of the game at 3:41, tying the score at 3-all. Huberdeau scored twice in a 35-second span for a 5-3 lead.
