COOPER CITY, Fla. – A family has been forced from their home following a large house fire in Cooper City. It happened Saturday morning near Southwest 87th Avenue and Pine Island Road. Fire crews were met with heavy smoke and flames as the blaze spread from the home’s garage to a nearby vehicle. Firefighters were eventually able to get the fire under control and extinguish it. COOPER CITY, Fla. – Dr. Leon Maratchi with Gastro Health said that 53% of patients who have COVID-19 in the hospital have at least one G.I. symptom and 32% of all COVID patients, regardless of the severity of the illness, were also affected. COOPER CITY, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify three burglars spotted on camera who are accused of stealing a golf cart and then taking a ride around a Cooper City neighborhood looking for unlocked cars. BSO says it was called around 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 24 with a report of a vehicle burglary in the area of Natalies Cove Road in Cooper City. Witnesses told deputies they saw people attempt to get in their cars before driving away in a golf cart. Investigators determined the golf cart was stolen from Southwest 119th Avenue about 90 minutes earlier. The burglars eventually left the golf cart at the entrance of the Natalie Cove community with the lights still on and the keys still in the ignition, deputies say.

But there was no way she could have prepared for what the coronavirus pandemic would bring. Florida’s number of coronavirus cases started to increase in March. But despite taking every precaution, Davis tested positive for the coronavirus in early July. Davis recently donated her plasma for the second time and said she’s feeling stronger every day.

According to an arrest affidavit, detectives found photos and a video on McBride’s cellphone of a 12-year-old and 14-year-old girl simultaneously performing oral sex on him in the backseat of his car. Both victims told detectives that McBride gave them $50 each as “hush money,” the affidavit stated. Detectives said McBride confessed to the incident involving the two minors, as well as to giving them money. McBride told detectives that he recorded the sexual acts on his cellphone with the intent to sell the videos to his acquaintances via Snapchat and Instagram, the affidavit stated. COOPER CITY, Fla. – The man accused of causing the crash that killed Tyrone White, a Miami-Dade police captain and father of New England Patriots running back James White, has been arrested and will face charges of vehicular homicide, reckless driving and speeding. Lisa White made a left turn onto Southwest 118th Avenue from the left-turn lane, when Chamblin’s vehicle hit the passenger side of White’s, BSO says. Tyrone White was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say Lisa White has been recovering at home. Tyrone White’s death rocked the local law enforcement community and the sports world.
