Broward Sheriffs Office homicide detectives said that at 11:52 p.m. on July 15, there was a 911 call reporting a shooting at the Solo Gas Station, 560 West Sample Road. When deputies arrived they found a man, later identified as 20-year-old Zion Lamar of Pompano Beach, outside of the business suffering from a gunshot wound. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue transported Lamar to Broward Health North where he later died. Homicide detectives believe Lamar may have been struck by gunfire during an altercation that involved multiple people.

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. Two brothers are facing multiple charges after they shot at two vehicles in Broward County, killing one driver, authorities said. POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A Coconut Creek man has died after he crashed his minivan into a semi-truck Monday night in Pompano Beach. The crash was reported just after 7 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Copans Road. Detectives said the Dodge struck the curb along the north side of the roadway, went onto the sidewalk, sideswiped a utility pole and then traveled back onto the roadway, colliding with the semi-truck. The minivan flipped over and came to a final rest in the far right lane of West Copans Road. Pubien was taken by paramedics to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 8:30 p.m.
