Maryland’s 13-year run in The Associated Press women’s basketball poll has come to an end after a week that saw more chaos in the Top 25.

Diamond Miller scored 14 of her 18 points in the final two quarters as second-seeded Maryland beat depleted Notre Dame 76-59 and reached the Elite Eight of the women's NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years.

Caitlin Clark scored 42 points and Monika Czinano had 28 as No. 6 Iowa defeated No. 8 Maryland 96-82.

Aliyah Boston had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Zia Cooke added 18 points to lift No. 1 South Carolina to an 81-56 victory over No. 17 Maryland.
