MIAMI – Civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump accused Miami police officers on Thursday of targeting Noura Fahmy for her work as a protest organizer. The video showing Noura Fahmy’s arrest on Wednesday contradicted the officer’s account in the arrest report. The video shows Fahmy was on the sidewalk walking along Biscayne Boulevard. “She was walking with her signs & officers arrested her,” Crump wrote on Twitter. MIAMI – Miami police are searching for two men who robbed a patron of the Saturn Motel over the weekend. According to authorities, the victim, who was at the motel with a lady companion, stepped out of his room and was confronted by two men, one of whom was armed with a knife and one who was armed with a gun. The robbers followed the victim into his room and a tussle ensued as both robbers struck the victim, authorities said. The victim ran out of the room and flagged down a Miami police officer who was driving along Biscayne Boulevard, police said. The second robber was wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and a red bandanna covering the lower portion of his face.

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - A 46-year-old man injured in a multi-vehicle accident last week in North Miami Beach has died. Daniel Jeruslami was one of nine people injured in Thursday afternoon's accident at the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 163rd Street. Surveillance video shows the white Jaguar SUV driven by Jeruslami trying to make a left turn into the shopping plaza when he's hit by a Mercedes-Benz being driven at a high rate of speed. Two others were hospitalized in stable condition after the accident. No citations have yet to be issued in the accident.

AVENTURA, Fla. - After a wastewater main break disrupted traffic on William Lehman Causeway for about a day, police officers were dealing with another main break nearby in Aventura on Saturday afternoon. The second damaged pipe was near the place where a 24-inch sewer line ruptured on the causeway Thursday night. To deal with the second main break, Aventura Police Department officers closed the southbound lanes of West Country Club Drive at Spoke Road, which is one of the eastern entrances of Aventura Mall. The break initially caused sewage to spill, forcing workers to place signs warning residents to avoid contact with the contaminated water near the Aventura Mall. The whole area of Aventura is just horrible for traffic," Aventura resident Kuno Vanderpost said.

MIAMI - Three children and one adult were injured Monday afternoon in a crash on the Julia Tuttle Expressway in Miami, authorities confirmed. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. - A motorist was injured Tuesday morning during a police pursuit along Biscayne Boulevard. During the pursuit, the driver of the Audi caused a hit-and-run crash that injured a man on a scooter, authorities said. A view from Sky 10 showed Miami-Dade Fire Rescue paramedics tending to the injured man on Biscayne Boulevard near Northeast 105 Street. Miami-Dade police said the stolen car was later found abandoned near Peachtree Drive and Northeast 113th Street. This stolen Audi that was involved in a police pursuit was found abandoned.

The gas leak was reported in the area of Biscayne Boulevard and Northwest 34th Street. Miami police said southbound lanes of Biscayne Boulevard were closed between Northwest 33rd and 36th streets. Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll confirmed the scene had cleared shortly before 2:45 p.m.No other details were immediately released.

MIAMI - Miami police are searching for the culprit who robbed an Uber driver at gunpoint earlier this month. The armed robbery was reported just before 4 p.m. July 12 in the area of Biscayne Boulevard and 80th Street. And I said, 'OK, OK, OK,'" Pena told Local 10 News on Monday. AVENTURA, Fla. – A woman was killed early Tuesday morning after a train collided with her car in Aventura. Investigators say the woman's car was sitting on the tracks at the time of the collision. The victim, who was in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only person in the car. Police say the woman committed suicide.
