Read full article: Louis Aguirre returns to Local 10 as anchor and reporterPEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local 10 is welcoming Louis Aguirre back to South Florida's No. Aguirre, who began his career in Miami and worked at Local 10 from 1988 to 1992, will return to the station to anchor the 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. newscasts. Aguirre was later hired by the Fox News Channel for the network's Fox and Friends morning show. “We are thrilled to welcome Louis back to South Florida, and back to WPLG, the station where his career began,” said WPLG President Bert Medina. Aguirre will return to Local 10 in September as he replaces Victor Oquendo, who is leaving the station to become a correspondent with ABC News.
