A convicted bank robber was back behind bars in Broward County five years after the FBI arrested him.

A 25-year-old Hialeah man was in federal custody for robbing three banks in three months in Miami-Dade County, the FBI announced on Thursday when the investigation was still ongoing.

A pair of robbers are on the run on Thursday morning after stealing an ATM from a bank in Miami-Dade County.

The FBI released photographs of a bank robbery that happened on Wednesday at a PNC Bank branch.

AVENTURA, Fla. – The FBI is searching for a man who they said robbed a bank over the weekend in Aventura. The robbery was reported at 9:12 a.m. Saturday at the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 2929 Aventura Blvd. According to FBI spokesman Jim Marshall, the man, who was wearing a white T-shirt and apparently made no effort to conceal his identity, entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A 74-year-old man who robbed a bank last year near Boca Raton won’t be serving any prison time. NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the robbery of a bank in North Miami Beach last month. Tyler Currie, who lives in North Miami Beach, was taken into custody by Miami-Dade police and is now in federal custody. Marshall said the FBI would not disclose how much money was taken at this time.
