Ciara, who is pregnant, was set to perform in Texas at the grand opening of the new Fort Hood USO on March 19 but announced Saturday that the event is being postponed. “With the continued spread of the coronavirus throughout the U.S., as a pregnant woman, my doctors have advised me to limit travel and large group gatherings,” Ciara said in a statement. And Mariah Carey announced she was postponing a March concert in Honolulu to November because of the coronavirus. And in Asia, several acts including BTS, Green Day, Avril Lavigne and Khalid, have cancelled or postponed live shows.

The 34-year-old singer has announced her first North American tour in five years. Her "Head Above Water" tour will run for 15 dates, kicking off in Seattle on September 14 and wrapping up on October 11 in Philadelphia. Lavigne announced the tour Monday on her official Instagram account. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, one dollar from every ticket purchased will go to benefit the Avril Lavigne Foundation, which supports people with Lyme disease, serious illnesses or disabilities.
