It was in front of a handful of people at a place called the Looney Bin Comedy Club in Staten Island. Its an ironic place for Davidson to be since The King of Staten Island, a comedy Davidson co-wrote with Apatow and Dave Sirus, begins with him playing videogames in his moms basement. The King of Staten Island may change that. Ill never forget that. For those who know him more from the tabloids, The King of Staten Island will certainly reveal a different side to Davidson.

Celebs take to streets for historic demonstrations
Across the U.S., many celebrities have been doing far more than tweeting supportive words or issuing carefully prepared statements. They took to the streets alongside thousands of people to condemn the killings of black people at the hands of police and to demand reform. The video shows Sampson step in front of his assistant and an officer hit him at least twice with a baton. Then an officer aims straight at me, no ricochet, and shoots (rubber bullets) Sampson wrote. Everyone is angry but there is a way to direct that anger, actor/director Taika Waititi wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Dear Hollywood, please cast Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish as the leads in a movie version of ‘Wicked’
If you’ve ever seen the blockbuster musical “Wicked,” which tells the untold story of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, the Good Witch from “The Wizard of Oz,” you’ve probably thought this musical could be a great movie. Grande even got to sing the song “The Wizard and I,” during a tribute TV special to the show. Plus, you’ve got to be able to hit some pretty high notes when you play Glinda, so Grande would be perfect. Eilish, on the other hand, basically lives her life as a modern-day version of the Wicked Witch of the West, so the choice is easy. It was reported there will be a movie version of “Wicked” to hit theaters in late 2021, but so far, we’ve had no news on casting.
