ESPN is reporting that by releasing Van Noy, the Dolphins have save $9.75M in cap space. Van Noy was a part of Brian Flores’ defense in New England. He played one season in Miami with 69 tackles, six sacks, and two forced fumbles in 14 games. The Dolphins do have options at linebacker including Andrew Van Ginkel, who proved to be a playmaker last season.

But he threw for 393 yards and two scores to help the Chiefs (12-1) earn their eighth consecutive victory. It was the Chiefs’ second consecutive comeback at Hard Rock Stadium, where they won the Super Bowl in February despite Mahomes' two interceptions. He threw an interception, bobbled a snap and took the big sack to set up the Dolphins’ first touchdown.

Many of those players took a moment to try and help out in the fight against the virus. Rookie running back Malcolm Perry and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel were among the players who donated convalescent plasma on OneBloods Big Red Bus. Because antibodies to the virus remain in the plasma portion of the blood after fighting off coronavirus, transfusing plasma from a person who has recovered from COVID-19 into a patient fighting the virus can boost their immune system. I was surprised initially but was happy because I was presented with the opportunity to give back and donate plasma and help people in need, Perry said via the Dolphins.
