Cryptocurrency giant FTX filed for bankruptcy Friday, leaving a number of unanswered questions, including a big one here in South Florida: what will happen to its naming rights deal for Miami’s FTX Arena and the money it was set to pay Miami-Dade County over the next two decades?

Every fan seated inside of the arena was greeted by a T-shirt by FTX, a U.S.-regulated cryptocurrency platform. However, these weren’t ordinary game-day shirts — each shirt had a scannable QR bar code on the back that, if unlocked, awarded the person with a limited edition, FTX Arena NFT.

The Miami Heat issued a statement Friday after being informed that AAA would not be a designated polling place. To say we are disappointed is a huge understatement, the Heat statement said. A source told Local 10 News the Heat will retire Wade’s No. 3 jersey on Feb. 22 during a home game vs. Cleveland. Wade retired from the NBA following the 2018-19 season after 16 years in the league. He was selected fifth overall by the Heat in the 2003 draft and went on to lead Miami to three NBA championships.

The airline released a statement Wednesday confirming the company will relinquish the naming rights of the downtown Miami arena. According to the statement, American Airlines will remain as the official airline of the Miami Heat. Miami Today reports Miami-Dade County is in advanced talks with a national company to replace American Airlines. American Airlines has been the name on the front of the building since the arena opened on New Year's Eve 1999.

Puerto Rican rapper, songwriter, actor and record producer Daddy Yankee took home the award for "Best Multitasker," but used his time on stage to call for the resignation of Gov. It was a call echoed by many other artists who spoke out and others who said nothing but wore shirts with sayings like "Ricky Rossell Renuncia": Ricky Rossell Resign. More celebrities join the callThursday's show was not the first time Puerto Rican celebrities have spoken out against the governor. "I live in Puerto Rico, my family lives in Puerto Rico, my friends," he said in a video posted to Instagram.
