In some churches Sunday morning in South Florida’s Haitian communities, prayers for the Pope come with unrelated heightened fear.
That comes with news that the Trump administration cut short Temporary Protected Status for Haitians in the U.S. as it did for Venezuelan TPS weeks ago.
More than half a million Haitians in the United States now have until Aug. 3 to leave.
