PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Last week, all eyes were on Miami International Airport, one of the busiest in the country, the gateway to Latin America and visitors’ first impression as they arrive in South Florida.
But some areas of the airport have fallen into disrepair. Elevators are broken, and the skytrain to move people to far-away gates has been down since September.
The county-run airport will get a new influx of money, something that was announced just days ago by Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.
She joined TWISF guest host Janine Stanwood, and their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
