PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Week one of the Florida legislative session and one of the more controversial bills is already headed to the full house and senate.
It was first filed as Permitless Carry and is now titled Public Safety.
It eliminates the permit currently required to carry a concealed firearm and it also now allocates millions for security in schools.
That is not enough for some of the Stoneman Douglas families.
Coral Springs Democrat Rep. Dan Daley joined This Week in South Florida host Glenna Milberg to discuss and their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
