PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis was in South Florida last week making the case for bills that would change voting and election procedure.
The governor and supporters call it making elections more secure, but opponents call it making it harder for people to vote.
To discuss the issue, and other happenings in Tallahassee, are state Rep. Evan Jenne of Dania Beach and state Sen. Manny Diaz of Hialeah.
Jenne is the co-Democratic leader in the state Senate and Dias is part of the Republican leadership and chair of the Education Committee.
They joined This Week in South Florida hosts Glenna Milberg and Michael Putney, and their discussion can be seen at the top of this page.
