Will Manso came back home to South Florida when he joined Local 10 in March of 1999. During his time here, Will has kept busy by working in sports, news and he's even dabbled in entertainment. He is now Local 10's sports director and also enjoys the chance to serve as host for special shows on Local 10.
Although he's originally from Weehawken, New Jersey, Will grew up in South Florida, where most of his family still lives. He is a proud graduate of the University of Miami with degrees in broadcast journalism and history.
Will started his broadcast career as a sports anchor/reporter in Missoula, Montana. After a year in Big Sky land, he worked at a Michigan television station as a sports anchor/reporter. Eventually he made his way back home to South Florida.
Will says he loves working with all the great people at the station. He loves going to the gym and talking sports, but most of his activities these days consist of keeping up with his daughters, Katelyn and Eva.
He also enjoys going to the movies. "The Shawshank Redemption," "Silence of the Lambs," "Scarface," "Heat," and "Goodfellas" top his favorite movie list.
When he's pleasing his palate, chances are you will find Will and family near the ocean on Lincoln Road, or he will just go to his parents' house to have some authentic Cuban food.
Will is involved in a number of community events and often speaks at local schools. He also emcees numerous events throughout the year and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
