MIAMI – The World Champion Miami Heat are becoming a bit less formal.
The Heat officially unveiled what it calls the 'Name Collection' on Tuesday.

The team said the concept features nicknames on the back of jerseys instead of the traditional last names.
Check out the above picture. Instead of James, it will say King James. Mario Chalmers will go by Rio. You get the idea.
The Heat will wear the nickname gear for the first time this Friday when they visit the Brooklyn Nets in New York.
The team said it will also sport the name collection jerseys during the Jan. 21st game against the Boston Celtics and the March 12th and April 8th games against the Brooklyn Nets.
