It will arguably be their toughest challenge of 2025 when they open a three-game set against the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers (18-10) at Dodger Stadium at 10:10 p.m. ET/7:10 p.m. PT.
The Dodgers took five of six against the Marlins last season, including a 16-run rout at loanDepot park in September – a game in which Shohei Ohtani became the first player in MLB history to record 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season.
Up first in the series for Clayton McCullough’s group is right-handed pitcher Edward Cabrera, still searching for his first victory of 2025.
Cabrera will go toe-to-toe with Dodgers flamethrower Dustin May, who has punched out 19 in 22 innings.
Right-handed pitcher Sandy Alcantara will toe the rubber Tuesday, followed by righty Cal Quantrill in the series finale Wednesday afternoon.
