GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – Welcome to the Miami Dolphins, Kenneth Grant.

Grant was selected No. 13 overall in the opening round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday night, beefing up the team’s defensive line.

Grant, 21, played collegiately at the University of Michigan, totaling 36 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and one interception across 41 games.

The pick addresses a position of need – with ex-Dolphin Calais Campbell leaving for the Arizona Cardinals earlier this offseason and Miami not having a true starter next to Zach Sieler.

It marks the second consecutive April that the Dolphins have taken a defensive player in the first round, following last year’s pick of Chop Robinson.

This will be a very busy draft for the Dolphins, as the team still has nine picks remaining (No. 48, 98, 116, 135, 150, 155, 224, 231, and 253).
