The waterfront estate, located inside the gated Long Lake Ranches community, features nearly an acre of land, scenic water views and access to upscale amenities, including tennis courts, horseback trails and a fitness center, according to the listing posted on Realtor.com.

The listing states that the community is guarded 24/7 and sits about 25 minutes from Hard Rock Stadium.

Tagovailoa purchased the home in 2020, the same year the Dolphins drafted him fifth overall. But security concerns may be behind his decision to move.

In December, the quarterback revealed that two of his cars were broken into on his property while his family was inside the house. The close call prompted him to hire armed private security.

“My house had gotten broken into — not necessarily the house, but one of my cars — and it was a little too close for my comfort with my family being in the house,” Tagovailoa said at the time. “So we got personal security to take care of all that when we’re on the road. We’ve got someone with my wife and someone at the house surveying the house.”

Tagovailoa added a warning to would-be intruders a day after the incident occurred: “Just to let that be known — they are armed. So I hope if you decide to go to my house, you think twice.”

Tagovailoa signed a four-year, $212 million contract extension in 2024, which included a $42 million signing bonus. His $53.1 million average annual salary ranks sixth among NFL quarterbacks.
