MIAMI – The Miami Heat know what’s on the line when they travel to Chicago on Wednesday.
The Heat held a practice at the Kaseya center, before heading to the Windy City.
Miami finished the regular season with the 10th best record in the Eastern Conference.
That means the Heat need to win two straight road games or their season is over.
Captain Bam Adebayo said, “Ultimate clarity. You’re not looking at the standings any more. You’re not trying to see if they lose, if we win. We gotta win two road games, punch our ticket.”
Adebayo added, “It’s like March Madness: win or go home.”
Back in 2023, the Heat rode the Play-In all the way to the NBA Finals, making an improbable run as the No. 8 seed in the East.
