MIAMI – The Miami Marlins are opening a new era with young players trying to make a name for themselves on the field.
Off the field, tucked away just feet from the Marlins clubhouse at loanDepot park, is a man whose name everyone knows.
Inside the barbershop, you can find Hugo “Juice” Tandron.
Through changes in players, front office and ownership, Juice remains a staple at the ballpark: not only cutting players’ hair, but forming friendships that last a lifetime.
Those bonds stay right on the wall in the barbershop, where it’s a who’s who of Marlins history.
So while the years pass and the names on the uniform change, one thing is pretty certain around the Marlins, whether is a cut or a chat, the man to turn to is always ready to help and grateful for the chance.
