Heat return to practice ready for playoff push

MIAMI – Down the stretch they come.

The Miami Heat are getting ready for the final stretch of the regular season, starting on Friday night at Toronto.

The Heat headed into the All-Star break on a 4-game losing streak.

Miami has 29 games left to play.

The Heat are 3-games under .500.

Miami’s lone All-Star Tyler Herro recognizes that there is urgency to Miami’s Playoff push.

Herro said Thursday, “Yeah, I mean we have to make a push now otherwise it’s going to be too late. There’s only 29 games left.”

Captain Bam Adebayo said the break was helpful for the squad.

Adebayo said, “It’s just a great reset, great reset for a lot of us got time away, time to reset, just decompress.”

Miami is currently the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference and would play in the Play-In Tournament if they can’t improve their positioning.
