According to Charania, the Heat will send veteran forward P.J. Tucker, a second-round pick, and cash to the Raptors in exchange for Mitchell.
Mitchell, the ninth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, has appeared in 271 career games.
He is averaging 7.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 43.4% from the field and 33.2% from beyond the arc in 2025.
The reported trade for Mitchell comes just hours after Miami traded forward Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors for a package of players that included forward Andrew Wiggins.
