Canes opener against Notre Dame set for August 31

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes have a huge opener coming up next season.

The Canes will start Mario Cristobal’s fourth season at home against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game is set for Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. from Hard Rock Stadium.

The game will air in South Florida on Local Ten.

The Canes won 10 games last season.

Quarterback Cam Ward is gone for the NFL.

Miami will likely start transfer Carson Beck at quarterback.

Notre Dame just lost in the National Championship game to Ohio State.
