MIAMI – The Miami Heat are set to suspend forward Jimmy Butler for two games, according to reports.

Butler missed a team flight on Wednesday and had planned to rejoin the Heat in Milwaukee, but the team decided to keep him home for their two-game road trip, ESPN’s Sham Charania confirmed.
Butler’s latest reported suspension comes just weeks after he served a seven-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.
Rumors are also swirling that the Phoenix Suns are exploring a trade for Butler, as his dissatisfaction with the Heat continues to grow.
The Miami Heat are 21-21 on the season after losing 116-107 to the Portland Trail Blazers (15-28) on Tuesday.
Miami’s next game is set for Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET, when they face the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.
