Miami Heat’s Terry Rozier suspended 1 game for role in altercation with Houston Rockets

MIAMI – Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier has been suspected one game for his role in an on-court altercation that occurred earlier this week.

The NBA also suspended Houston Rockets forward Amen Thompson for two games.

This is all stemming from an incident that happened in the final minute of the game between the Heat and Rockets on Sunday in Houston.

Additionally, Heat guard Tyler Herro was fined $25,000, Rockets guard Jalen Green was fined $35,000 and Rockets Head Coach Ime Udoka was fined $50,000 for their respective roles in the incident and its aftermath.

Miami ultimately won the game 104-100.

Rozier is serving his suspension during Miami’s game on Jan. 1 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
