MIAMI – The Miami Heat signed forward Keshad Johnson on Tuesday.

The details of the deal were not disclosed in line with team policy.
Johnson initially joined the Heat on a two-way contract on July 1 and has since impressed in the G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
In 13 games as a starter, he averaged 21.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.54 steals per game, shooting an efficient 54.9% from the field, 39.6% from beyond the arc, and 79.5% from the free-throw line.
Johnson recorded three double-doubles and registered a +135 plus/minus. He has also appeared in three games with Miami, contributing two points and three rebounds, according to a Miami Heat press release.
Johnson wrapped up his college career at Arizona after transferring from San Diego State. He left with an impressive 119-30 record in games he played.
As a fifth-year senior, Johnson earned recognition as a Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention and was a semifinalist for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award.
He ranked among the team’s leaders in several categories, finishing second in rebounds and blocks, third in minutes, and fourth in points, steals, and three-pointers.
Johnson also played a key role in helping San Diego State reach the NCAA championship game in 2023.
