DENVER ā€“ Coming off a tough 115-112 defeat against the Phoenix Suns to open a six-game road trip, the Miami Heat (3-4) will look to get back into the win column Friday against the Denver Nuggets (5-3) at Ball Arena, with tip coming at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Tyler Herro poured in 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting in the loss Wednesday, a game the Heat led by as many as 15 in the second half, but closing games out, especially in the third quarter, have been a struggle thus far for Erik Spoelestraā€™s group.

ā€œAt some point, you just have to take a stand and say enough is enough,ā€ Spoelstra said after the Heatā€™s 111-110 loss vs. the Sacramento Kings Nov. 4.

Riding a season-best three-game winning streak, Denver ā€“ who knocked the Heat out in five games to capture their first title in 2023 ā€“ awaits the status of star Jamal Murray, who is listed as questionable on the injury report due to a concussion.

The Nuggets are already without F Aaron Gordon, out multiple weeks because of a calf strain in his right leg.

Following their visit to Denver, the Heat will continue their stay away from the Kaseya Center when they visit Minnesota on Nov. 10, Detroit on Nov. 12, and Indiana on Nov. 15 and 17 before returning home vs. the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 18.
