Miami Hurricanes move up to No. 5 in AP Poll

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes keep winning and impressing the pollsters.

The Canes moved up to No. 5 in the AP Poll on Sunday.

Miami was ranked No. 6 the prior weekend.

Miami moved to 8-0 on the season with a win over their rival Florida State.

The Canes beat the Noles 36-14, despite Heisman Candidate Cam Ward throwing for under 300 yards and throwing 0 touchdown passes.

The Canes rushed for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Next up: The Canes host Duke.

That game will be broadcast in South Florida on Local Ten.
