Miami Heat postpone Thursday’s preseason game due to Hurricane Milton

Deal to call Downtown Miami venue Kaseya Center now official

MIAMI – The impact from Hurricane Milton continues to be felt in South Florida.

On Tuesday, as the region prepares for what is forecast to be an indirect but still impactful hit from the storm, the Miami Heat announced that they had postponed their upcoming preseason game.

Initially scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. from Kaseya Center, the game will now be played on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The start time has not changed.

Tickets for the originally scheduled game will be good for the new game next week, and the team also said refunds were available at the point of purchase.
