MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel gave injury updates Monday for defensive end Bradley Chubb and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
McDaniel said Chubb, along with linebacker Cameron Goode and Isaiah Wynn, will begin the regular season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, where they will miss the first four games.

All three players will be eligible to return when Miami faces the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Week 5.
Chubb suffered a torn ACL late in the Week 17 loss against the Baltimore Ravens, a little more than a month after Jaelan Phillips went down with a torn Achilles tendon in the Black Friday victory against the New York Jets.
Chubb, 28, led the team with 11 sacks in 2023 and recorded his highest sack total since his rookie season (12) in 2018.
Phillips was able to return to the active roster last week and will join Zach Sieler, Calais Campbell and Chop Robinson, who will aim to create pressure against opposing quarterbacks.
McDaniel also announced on the day before the NFL’s final 53-man cutdown deadline that Beckham won’t be on the team’s PUP list to start the season.
The Dolphins are hoping Beckham will be able to start practicing sooner than later after fellow wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have battled minor injuries recently, too.
McDaniel said wide receiver River Cracraft is also expected to “miss some time” after sustaining an upper-body injury in Week 2 of the preseason.
The Dolphins will now make the roster moves necessary to get the roster down to 53 before they host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 at Hard Rock Stadium.
