Hill was named the No. 1 player in the NFL in a list picked by players.

After that, Hill’s contract was reworked by the Dolphins to give him more guaranteed money.

Hill said, “Didn’t celebrate at all. He’s why... My family, y’all are so used to me winning that we don’t celebrate any more.”

Hill said that his grandparents came in and they went to dinner to celebrate.

Hill said, “That’s why I play man, for moments like this.”

The wide receiver pointed out that in 2017, he called it, saying that he was going to be on top of the list.

Hill said, “I told coach McDaniel, without you, I would still be getting ranked No. 15 in Kansas City.”

The star receiver also thanked Dolphins management and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Hill said, “I’m grateful. I won’t take any of this for granted.”

The veteran added that there’s big expectations for the team and the focus is on winning games.

Asked what his next goal is, Hill said, the team’s goal is to win a Playoff game.
