GAIN – The Miami Hurricanes will kick off their season in an in-state rivalry game by facing the Florida Gators at “The Swamp” on Aug. 31.
College football fans will be able to watch the game only on Local 10 (ABC) at 3:30 p.m.

It’s the first time both teams are meeting since the Hurricanes lost to the Gators 24-20 in the 2019 Camping World Kickoff.
The Hurricanes will look to rebound after coming off of a 7-6 season in 2023. The Gators will also be looking to start the 2024 season off on the right foot after ending last season at 5-7.
Hurricanes Head Coach Mario Cristobal will be looking to improve his 12-13 record through his first two seasons in Miami.
Dating back to 1938, the Hurricanes hold a 29-27 edge over Florida in the all-time series.
